From cracker to cilantro, American food terms that confuse us

With globalization, we have been exposed to a huge repertoire of new words that may represent the same thing that we have known all our lives, but have a completely different nomenclature. While it may be interesting to some, they are also confusing and particularly those who are cooking find it difficult when a common coriander began to be called cilantro due to the influence of American English or the regular capsicum suddenly became bell pepper. Here are some American words that have indeed added some amount of confusion in our food dictionary.
